Testimony of faith and actions of Mother Sofronia

Mother Sofronia was a dedicated educator who lived her vocation focused on love for family, work, and Christian faith, having arrived in Apóstoles in 1939 to begin her work with the Basilian Sisters. She belonged to the Sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great, women of prayer imbued with Eastern Christian spirituality, who live in a monastic community based on the teachings of Saint Basil. In their testimony, they seek to achieve Christian perfection and be a praying, healing, and life-giving presence for those who need it most.
